This next instructor puts the “stud” in “star-studded lineup” and the “ten” in setenta. His name is Ethan Wagner but when we weren’t paying attention he somehow inserted a clause into his contract for this event that we have to refer to him as “Nighthawk.”

Nighthawk is a danceyboi from New York and has run unsuccessfully five times for the presidency of WARN (the World Association of Rueda Nerds).  He has taught on all seven continents including Antarctica (granted, most of his students were penguins).  He is the inventor of 739 different rueda moves.  He is the author of the best-selling self-help book “7 Habits of Highly Effective Enchuflas.”

As a native New Yorker, Nighthawk is forbidden by the mayor from saying nice things about Boston.  But he’s agreed to break his hometown oath just this once to say, “Despite what I was told as a child and taught in school, not all Boston people are heathen maniacs with the unrefined manners of cavemen.  In fact, Boston dance people are lovely and wonderful and enthusiastic and fun and kind.  And I can’t wait to dance with them again at BCDF.”
